Freaking over Films

Director: Imtiaz Ali Cast: Pavel Gulati, Shreya Choudhary Review: Imtiaz Ali is the undisputed king of storytelling and his career as a scriptwriter-director  bears a testimony to that ( Let us forgive him for the debacle that Jab Harry Met Sejal was) Sometimes full length feature films spanning over two hours fail to convey what this 15 minute long movie does, much of the credit for which goes to Imtiaz's impeccable screenplay that keeps you guessing till the end. The film begins with a voice explaining the metaphorical significance of "Time" and its different connotations as the scenes hereafter unfold. The setting is simple, a modern day wedding where a bride comes running to her Mandap, hugs her fiancé before being interrupted by a random photographer who proposes to click a picture because in his words- yaha se guzar raha tha. the bride and the photographer exchange a suspicious stare making you believe that there is more than what meets the eye. Much a
